The sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette (2005–2013) built directly on the momentum of the C5, pushing America’s sports car further into true world-class territory through aggressive performance gains and refined execution. Evolving rather than reinventing the formula, the C6 retained the hydroformed chassis and rear-mounted transaxle while introducing more powerful LS-series engines, improved aerodynamics, and a tighter, more purposeful design. With breakthroughs like the 7.0-liter LS7–powered Z06 and the supercharged ZR1, the C6 Corvette delivered supercar-level capability at a fraction of the cost of its European rivals. Equally at home on the street and the racetrack, the C6 benefited from extensive racing success that validated its engineering under the harshest conditions.
